After the operation the nose is not tamponed, so that you can get your breath immediately. In the case of larger-scale nose operations, it may become necessary to apply a plaster splint for 14 days. Swelling and a sensation of tension around the cheeks and under the eyes are normal. They will disappear automatically within a few weeks. During the first two weeks you should stick to soft food in order to avoid more swelling due to chewing. The final result will not be seen until after several months. Sport, sauna and solarium should be avoided during the first three months after the operation.
