Anaesthetic, narcosis

There are basically three types of anaesthetic available for this kind of surgery:

General anaesthetic
twilight-sleep (partial anaesthestic)
local anaesthetic
The type of anaesthetic applied in your case depends on the type of surgery and will be determined by Dr. med. Annette Kotzur in consultation with the attending anaesthetist.
