Gynecomastia (enlarged male breast)

Men too can develop excess fat, especially in the breast area (gynecomastia) which can normally be liposuctioned.

But since the connective tissue is very firm in this area I usually recommend my patients to have this operation performed under analgosedation so make sure they will not feel any pain.

There are cases when the enlargement is not simply caused by excess fatty tissue but by a real enlargement of the breast gland, as men also have breast glands. In these cases it is necessary to make an additional incision around the areola of the breast in order to remove the tissue. Whether this is necessary in your case will be determined in a private consultation.
