Some fundamental facts on
breast enlargement (augmentation)

Will I still be able to breast-feed after a breast augmentation?

Recent information on the subject suggests that women with breast implants are able to breast feed. But there have been a number of studies looking into the effects of silicone in breast-fed infants. There is no evidence of the presence of silicone residues from silicone implants in breast milk or if ingested by infants the silicone is absorbed or excreted by the body. There is no evidence that absorbed silicone causes disease in children.
